this intrigues me. would you mind elaborating? what does a proletarian/ non-reactionary opposition to liberal ideology mean, if not opposition to both its sanctification of the individual and his property, AND opposition to the reactionary abrahamic/patriarchal morality that lies beyond its supposed secularism (in the form of idealistic non-concepts like 'liberty' 'freedom' etc)? what are the achievements of liberalism that are the presumption of proletarian emancipation? i have difficulty seeing any achievements outside of a historical sense.

i don't want to get into whatever spart pedo bullshit the rest of this argument seems to be about, but i'm interesting in your thinking here if it's not too much trouble.

As always, thank you for sharing your thoughts. Indeed, you are by far one of the best, if not the best, poster on revleft. It is rare to see such coherence to Marxist analysis. I found your input on headscarves, islam and orientalism particularly enlightening.

I noticed that you mentioned that you believe that an eventual future revolution will most likely begin in the United States, what do you base that on? Would not Europe be a more likely location? Would you not say the European workers are more class concious? Furthermore, what would you say is the reason that class combat has "died down" so to speak in America, in comparison to Europe, especially considering that American workers do not enjoy many of the same benefits that European workers do?

And what do you think should be the aim of a revolutionary party, if most of the proletariat is driven by these ethnic politics of division and the appeal of nationalism ? Did any revolutionary party ever smashed these tenets of capitalism ?

Also, I ignored that former Communist parties ever had an appeal in the Middle East. The idea we've of it, in the West, is the duality of Islamists and Nationalists (except Afghanistan and Yemen, yet their context is quite vague for me). Do you have any reading on the subject ?

Hello Comrade, I wished to express my admiration for your threads and arguments. Few on Revleft make posts as coherent, intelligent and poetic as yours.

Also, I wished to have your thought on nationalities question : Here in Quebec, the proletariat and petty-bourgeoisie is linguistically and ethnically divided between French-Canadians and English-Canadians. The whole left is singing for independence, from Social-Dems. to radical left. Same goes in Algeria; the Berber are requesting independence, which is profoundly dividing the working-class of both sides. What do you think is a wise position for a Revolutionary Party ?
