Good post about patriarchy and monotheism. I've been saying this for years- the God of the Old Testament/Tanakh is not supposed to be taken as big guy with a beard who lives in the sky. The way I see it is that it's metaphor and allegory and religionists and atheists who always base their rantings on literal translations are fools. In Judaism there are the four interpretations are there not..?
