Honestly, you might not even want to invest in a mic. I got to a professional studio and pay by the hour. Getting a mic and using a home studio can sometimes be complicated. Really it all depends on your budget, dedication to music, and tech-savyness.

I think your lyrics are tight. Flow pretty good (always focus on hitting the clap), your multisyllables are nice. What I would recommend working on is energy, delivery, volume, and getting a new mic. Every rapper I have met goes through this phase, and it's something that takes effort and practice. Keep it up man, you're starting out fine!
