well it's been very easy to spread rumors in iraq all this time that it's been ruled by paranoia, so there may be some anti-semitism spreading north, but I think the fact that there is no significant coverage, even from middle eastern sources, indicates that the phenomena is negligible. I think that islamism will become less and less popular in Iraq as the newly elected secular alliance begins its government.

are you sure this is the right link? I found no mention of anti-semitism, or even israel in the article.

It began rather nicely, and showed that both Chomsky and Ali were willing even in 2005 to concede the possibility of iraqi democracy and future prosperity, but then suggesting that this would ultimately lead to a war with Israel is completely nuts. If anything they have a common enemy in Iran.
