I thought maybe since Joyce was connected with the Socialist movement perhaps yo might have had a gander at some of his work. Dubliners tells some of the grimmest stories I ever read. I'f you managed to read it all I'd ask 'how on earth did you manage that?' I had to put it down lol, too depressing.

Thanks for brightning things up. I didn't know he was the first to offer a critique of the state capitalist nature of "state socialism". I only knew that it was understood that within social democratic circles in the 1870's already.
