No, we had Christian Commies before (I think its all bollocks of course but Im not gonna bang on with the obvious criticisms) but of all religions Catholicism seems least appliable to communism. If you think the Pope is the sole representative from God, think that people like St Augustine of Hippo and St Thomas Aquinas are correct in their theorising that society exists the way it is due to the inate condition of man and think of the history of Catholicism as a very heirarchical faith...

Well yes, we do oppose his ideas since Trotsky advocated worldwide Permanent Revolution while Stalin advocated Socialism in One Country where Socialism was supposed to fully develop in Russia before spreading. So yes, it's pretty much just rivelry over opposing views of how to acheive Socialism.
