They've fought the reactionaries to a standstill and are currently struggling for 'army integration', the dissolution of the national army and it's replacement with a new army, made up of a merger of the two, with new officers and a new command structure. Effectively, the end of the monarchist Royal Army officers corps that can still order a coup de'tat, if they feel it to be necessary.

This may or may not succeed. But while the Maoists have signed a peace accord, they have *not* dissolved their armed forces. Dual power is a reality in Nepal - either side can win.

And if you google "Alan Greenspan Unless there is a societal choice to abandon dynamic markets a"... the first result you get is someone on an internet forum with the thread title "Is Alan Greenspan a Marxist?" I originally read it in an article from The Socialist (CWI publication), but I find Greenspan et al's reaction to the crisis very interesting; they know capitalism has fucked up to it's very core, and since they're right at the top of the ladder in the age of imperialism (domination of finance capital, right?) they know exactly what is going on, but they simply prescribe massive cuts to welfare etc. "assuage their [crises] aftermath", to use Greenspan's phraseology.
