hey - check my edit on my post in the abortion thread. I can read the article because I get automatic access through the uni network.

Well shit. If I would have known being friends with Meadow would have cast suspicion on you, I probably wouldn't have done it. Hopefully they're smart enough the check the IP or MAC addresses. I guess if they end up banning you it just kind of proves the right and reformists deserve to win.

It's like the song says, "With friends like these, who needs COINTELPRO."

Sorry for being so late. I hope things turned out.

Just to get this clear - do you advocate legal restrictions on abortion during the late stages of pregnancy? Do you think access to late-term abortions should in any way be limited by the government?

That's an interesting perspective you've given in the thread on abortion in OI. Personally I think it's fucking stupid to restrict people who oppose abortion. Mainly because when I came to this site, I was a leftist/socialist, except due to my up bringing I opposed abortion. If I had have been restricted, I wouldn't have stuck around, and thus my political development would have been stunted.

But then again, I disagree with the "CC" line on a lot of issues.

I hope you stick around, because there is a lot to learn from RevLeft.

Thanks. I always appreciate people bothering to read my blog.

I actually did a paper last semester--ended up being a 15 page proposal, my professor said it could be a thesis or something of the like--on the connections between numeracy and political empowerment.

Classical economics is a bare beginning. As long as we're to have a worldview remotely based on empiricism, numbers are important.
