to be honest I haven't read any "landmark" anti-zizek work. I know of his long-term ties in practice to the Liberal Democrats in Slovenia, I have read interviews where he proposes "Europe" as a "second-world" alternative to the US which can offer leadership to the third world etc., i.e. a "west" which can win a war of values against "the fundamentalists on both sides", when in fact I think the notion of "western values" is a revision of history and a lie. if you search the blog www.leninology.blogspot.com he has some good arguments with zizek.

lol. yes we do seem to have our differences. I don't think Zizek is a bad writer btw, just not a marxist. but like I say I am not going to be able to write a decent theoretical post for the time being, so we will just have to agree to differ.
