I fully agree. Religion and Politics should definitely be two separate affairs. Sarah Palin is a horrible example. She seemed to be incorporating her religious beliefs into her politics. Thankfully the Republicans didn't get elected. I got the impression that if they did, America would be one step closer to being a Theocracy. If I had my way, I would abolish religion. It's so illogical too.

Yes. When I was in the Czech republic it definitely seemed to be less modernized than the rest of the countries I was in.

I hate religion. I really do. It causes so many conflicts because people get a "my god is better than your god, therefore you're wrong and will go to hell" attitude. Like look at the middle east today(and the crusades in the middle ages). All religious conflicts. Same with the whole terrorist thing: "Let's go blow ourselves up so we can go to heaven". What heaven? A heaven with a false old man in the sky ruling over you? There shouldn't be anybody ruling over anybody else. We as communists know that better than anybody else.

Yea. I have some decisions to make regarding my education. A career using politics is rather limited, especially with far left politics. I'm probably better off with the history.

I have been to both Germany and the Czech Republic and they seem quite a bit different from each other. I don't think Czechs like Communism much, considering their past history with it. I was in southern Germany(In Bavaria) so i'm sure it would have been quite different than if I would have been in what was East Germany.

It is pretty sad how one has to go to college to live a decent life. I have to for two reasons, I may want to be a teacher and here if you don't get an education you're pretty stuck working somewhere like McDonald's your whole life. Why not have both? My self-education on politics and my university education on history? lol

That's good. Germany seems more Socialist than here. Isn't the whole EU Socialist?

Hmm. Yeah me 2. After high school, I'm living life to the fullest even if I dont attend college. I just see college as a means of having a more successful life. I hate how society believes that if you dont go to college, youre considered a fuckup. Yeah education is necessary but it all depends on what. Theres a big difference between having a Ph.D in Functional Analysis and having self-educated knowledge on politics. I'd take the self education on one of the most important topics in life over a Ph.D in a limited subject anyday. You know what I mean?

But yeah, Germany has sort of a socialist system on such things as healthcare and jobs and they dont crackdown on anything opposing their ideals... so its an alright place to live.

Haha! It's ok. Anyway, my views aren't exactly welcome here. I need to get active somehow. Oh well. As soon as i'm finish highschool(i'm in my last year) I plan on attending university which would be in a large city. There is bound to be active leftist movements there.

Canada is an ok country. We're becoming more conservative, but at least we have our universal health care.

Some people are beginning to believe that Obama is actually a Socialist running under the identity of a democrat. That would sure be nice. lol America needs change and another Republican president isn't going to do that. Just look at all the damage Bush did.

It's sad, but true. The bourgeoisie control the world. Why do you think elections turn out the way they do?(The right-wingers win everytime! In Canada at least) It's because the candidates with the most money win. money=votes. Of course they get into office and run things in the interest of the wealthy class. It's definitely like that here. Everything is slowly being privatetized. I need to move out of my dad's house and get active! We need change, somebody in power who actually cares about the working class.

Yea. People here tend to be very close-minded and stuck up. My mom moved away for that exact reason.(and other reasons). It's terrible. As soon as i'm finished high school i'm hoping to move into a larger city where there will be more active leftist organizations to get involved with.
