Regarding "black," it's a term used to refer to people from the Caucasus Mountains region, also known as Caucasians. The racial discourse in Russia is quite different from what the West is familiar with. In fact, actually, the Nazis there have a more westernized concept of race than anyone else in Russia, with their notion of a unified white race.
