This is from Boridga's Theses on the Role of the Communist Party in the Proletariat Revolution:
The most important task of a genuine communist party is to keep always in closest touch with the broadest masses of the proletariat. In order to do that, communists can and should also be active in associations which, though they are not party organisations, have large proletarian groups among their members...The Russian example of the so-called "non- parties" workers' and peasants' conferences is particularly important...Communists consider it their most important task to carry on the work of organisation and instruction in a systematic fashion within these wider workers' organisations.

1. Wouldn't the party seizing control of the state and instituting a proletariat dictatorship be very much a class warfare issue?

2. It is true, Bordiga was very much concerned over the "purity" of the party, but this can be understood from the time he lived in where most parties where becoming highly reformist, etc. Modern day Bordigists wouldn't want the party isolated from the class struggle.

3. Bordiga didn't want the party isolated from the proletariat. To believe that is to really take quotes out of context. While Bordiga didn't mind the party to be made up of a minority of the class, he did want the party to have influence over the proletariat and once the majority of the proletariat became class conscious Bordiga believed the party should be a mass party. In another message, I can post a quote from Bordiga on this.

sadly i think that bank burning thing is true, though i'm not sure of the exact details. ak press put out two books on greece, one edited by occupied london, and that mentions it a number of times. i think it occured after december 2008 but before the rise of anti-austerity protests, etc.
