I am still sympathetic to Bordiga, but I'm not a fan of his more ultra-left inclinations vis-á-vis mere labor disputes, internationalist fetishism; and, of course, I am for a one-party state, unlike Bordiga. Bordigists are nearly nonexistent these days, and entirely irrelevant. The council fetishists are dominating the left communist movement, and have been for some decades.

I cannot say that I'm familiar with Bhaskar Sunkara. Cockshott doesn't really seem like a Bordigist, since he praises the soviet union as a socialist state.

I admire DeLeon as a theorist, but I think his turn to syndicalism did himself a great disservice.

Well I seemed to detect a bit of a fascination with unions and mere labor disputes, which I interpreted as a fallacy of the left; and then he seemed to put too much stock in electoralism and legalism, which I would say is a fallacy of the right.

That was an interesting thread. What are the left and right wings of Orthodox Marxism?

I didn't really get a good representation from that thread. The fellow you were arguing with seemed to possess the worst politics of both the "right" and "left" parts of Kautskyanism.

I think one of the greatest failings of the left communist movement is the victory of the German/Dutch Strike fetishist segment over the partyist Italian segment.
