Why don't you expound upon your sexist views in another thread. I'm very curious as to your responses to the stuff said about your sexism in that thread the other day.

I do wonder why you wouldn't just bite the bullet and sit with the tories. That said I wouldn't say Blair "manipulated the left from the inside" - by the early nineties most of the furthest left elements of labour had been purged by Neil Kinnock's leadership (although from what I know of Millitant, good riddance) so by the time Blair was in leader a lot of the groundwork for Labour's shift had already been done. On the other hand I suppose he was leader for so long it was inevitable that the party would change more and more to reflect his personality.

You'll be unsurprised to know that I'm not particularly fussed about the ideological shift of Labour - social democrats or "third way" because when it comes down to it for me, they were ultimately defending capital. I believe I'm not far off the mark when I say that Labour only ever set out to administer capitalism better than the other lot (who they ended up resembling in the end) I'm sure you see it differently.
