Well my join date is the 22 of march of this year and truthfully I was completely unaware. If you don't mind me asking, how do you reconcile being a member of the CWI, given your strong orthodox marxists convictions. While it was always apparent to me that Trotskyism had some influence on you, I had you pegged as an orthodox marxist along with DNZ, Ghost Bebel and Rafiq.

The reason I ask, is that I have been contemplating joining a Trotskyist party recently and have already started doing some writing for them. But truthfully it is posts from you and those listed above which have been drawing me to orthodox marxism. I really enjoy your posts about the need for radical democracy among the left, yet I am afraid that I will just join another irrelevant left sect.

You also seem to be a sympathizer with the CPGB, who also is extremely interesting, would you consider the CWI to be similar to them?

I'm pretty much the same. I don't know if it's good or bad. I finally got a date a few months ago, even ended with some sexual romance, and then turned out I caught chlamidya. Really makes me want to stay indoors forever.

Q, do you know of any articles or books worth reading about Althusser and his Structural Marxism? In English or French. Or something about the Frankfurt school, from a more traditional Marxist source. I've asked DNZ the same thing, you two seem to be the most knowledgeable Marxists around here.

Curious, what is your stance on national liberation?
