Yo, got any idea why all my posts on Kasama seem to need moderation lately? It might be cos they tend to include links, but it's a bit weird.

    Right on.

SUP are playing a crucial role in fight against the cuts. Some of them are planning on coming to our public meeting next week.

Anyway, if you see a guy with a beard and glasses and a denim jacket at any SFSU actions, thats me and you should say "hi".

Yes, very true. And I'm in full support of the Maoists through their revolutionary struggle right now. They are bringing real change & that is something we must all bring support in.

Hey. Sorry I've been off this board for awhile and just noticed your message.

I am part of the SFSU branch, though I'm not a student (education worker at SFUSD). I was at the occupation from around 5pm-10pm. A few of us got arrested defending it along with the others. Are you a SFSU student? Know about our public meeting with Clarence Thomas (the REAL one from the ILWU) next week? You should try and make it.

Have you seen their documentary, "People of the Shining Path"?

Oh, well of course, but their 'faith' towards Guzman had a reasoning behind it sort of since it was him that pushed them forward, & made the movement actually happen. He was a pretty good leader, which is why I respect him towards that standpoint. Yeah, they had some problems that they were dealing with, & it was obvious that they weren't learning from past mistakes within the history of communism, that's apparent. But, fact of the matter is that we've got to show support for our comrades during this time & age against the Capitalist-Imperialists. We'll sort out the rest after we gain power.

Truth is, they were the only ones fighting back that represented a true system of hope & freedom, they never trafficked drugs like the Peruvian government tried claiming, innocents were killed but it was a result of cross-fire between the military & the path, & truth is that during any revolution there will be innocent bloodshed through cross-fire & so if you're sqeamish about that kind of thing then you wouldn't last in a revolution, & it's a fact that women were of the most importance of the Shining Path & showed the equality between men & women through their resistance.

Also, there's a lot of disinformation going on about the Sendero Luminoso. Yes, they've done some bad things in the past, though so did Che Guevara, but I don't let those things get in the way of the good things they did, nor for what they represent. A lot of people like to point out the 'Lucanamarca Massacre', yet I've continually supported this attack because it was a counter-revolutionary attack against the Rondas, who were a anti-rebel peasant army trained by the Peruvian Military, who first attacked them & killed 13 shining path members. Again, yes, they did bad things, but they also brought some light to Peru for the indigenous peasant population. They were the dissident voices that had the guts to truly fight back against the still-corrupted State of Peru. Which is why I'm calling for the liberation of Abimael Guzmán.

Thanks for messaging, & really, I'm not a straight-forward anarchist. I don't advocate the immediate abolishment of the state, because I find this idea to be very detrimental to the real causes trying to end the state, while implementing true communism. My ideal is based on how I see Marxism & Anarchism as one of the same thing. Anarchist ideology speaks of ending the state, but there's not a time-limit on when this needs to be achieved. Marxist ideology says the exact same thing, yet it shows that it'll take some time to end the state in the long run. Anarchism is an essential element of communism, whether you're a Marxist, Maoist, Leninist, etc. We're just more patient with the idea of eliminating the state, unlike a lot of 'straight-forward' anarchists today. Though, I use to be a 'straight-forward' anarchist when I started politics, & since then, I never gave up the name 'The Vegan Anarchist'.
