If you are interested in Hermeticism, the text to start with would be the Corpus Hermeticum which you can find here http://gnosis.org/library/hermet.htm Also, if you are looking to read about Gnosticism I would recommend the Nag Hammadi Codex which contains both Christian and Judaic Gnostic texts that are definitely worth while; most specifically the Gospel of Thomas and "Thunder, The Perfect Mind". You also really can't go wrong with the Tao Teh Ching or Bhagavadgita either. A good rule of thumb to follow is not to follow, but rather seek inwardly for spiritual answers.

Liberals are much too politically correct for my tastes. But yes I'd like to see universal health care. I'm not convinced that a bureaucratic state is the best way to achieve this, though. I'm rather apolitical, believe it or not.
