You seem to misunderstand. You making films has got nothing to do with me making films or with anyone else making films. There is no "competition". One doesn't have anything to do with the other. I'm simply talking about the films themselves and how good they are, which is dependent, mostly, on the talents and abilities of the director and producer. I'm saying that at the end of the year, or whatever space of time, we'll see who has made films that are perceived by people as being better. This is just a statement of fact; it doesn't imply any competition between us or the films we make. I'm not sure what is so difficult to understand about this? You do realize that films do not exist in a vacuum, only for yourself, but in the actual real world, and that they are judged in that world and that this judgement determines their worth, right? This doesn't imply competition. I have no idea where you got that from.
