thanks for your support in the triggers thread and for standing up unapologeticly in the anti-feminist climate of the discrimination forum, i know it takes a lot of energy; i've also got C-PTSD/DDNOS/whatever they call it these days and it's really difficult to explain to people who don't have trauma-spectrum "disorders" how much of our daily lives are spent in confronting repetitive, potentially actualized violence that they might only see as 'subtle' or 'structural'. i actually feel like there's a ton of work that needs to be done by marxists around mental health and affective labor, dissociative trauma and alienation, etc but this is probably not the forum to do it on, since vacuous reactionary diatribes agianst "identity politics" and "privilege theory" inevitably over-run any thread that touches on these issues. anyway, hi.
