This has been bothering me for a while.
  2. Could you elaborate further about being closer to ultra-leftism, then Marxism-Leninism?

Three years ago I espoused anti-choice political beliefs and was restricted- my opinions have since changed but my restriction hasn't been lifted. Some have told me it may be because of my thirdworldist leanings which can be interpreted as "fascist" but I doubt it. Either way, I don't mind- even before my restriction, most of my activity was in OI anyways.

nothing, I just read your conversations and thought it would be better to give you a hint that all this aura of mistery is something he uses, intentionally or not, for his advantage, if you really want to debate him you should remember he is a human being.

I hate gossiping like this but I can asure you that Ismail is a normal person (for internet standards), either a trained historian or an extremely dedicated amateur, besides you are a communist, already obsessing over stuff a wholle bunch of stuff most people find irrelevant.

Yeah, you can debate him if you want to go on this epic debating track but I do not see it going anywhere. I have seen his kind before on various places on Facebook and they rarely say much original. He is a fine person but it is much like talking with a stubborn mule.

Indeed. The next time you are up or preparing to come up to visit your buddy do not hesitate to send me a message; it would be an honor to be able to hang-out with other comrades without traveling a great distance.

Sure, I will send you some of my links from Kasama...

lol.. yup, I find it easier to defend something when I have at least one other person helping me out. Otherwise it can become tedious and morale can droop low. In terms of this I wouldn't argue with Ismail... nothing would get accomplished.

Currently I am attending night school so as to earn my G.E.D so I am not enrolled in college yet, though perhaps next year. More specifically I live in southern Maine not too far from the state capital.

I live up north in the snowy Tea Party governed state of Maine. I actually gave a rousing speech while the pig governer was present and I think it landed him on his shit list.lol... I am quite proud.

Kasama doesn't have a forum, only the main site which serves as the discussion place. However, Kasama is about to launch a new radically redesigned website that is aiming to be a awesome new direction for communication (see my recent thread in the Websites sub-forum for more information).

For Kasama I write a variety of different topics, mostly media and queer liberation. Currently I am working on a article involving video games which will appear on the new site shortly after launching. No one assigns articles or anything: if you have an article idea pitch it to one of the Moderators and see what they think.

The atmosphere is good. Friendly talk but there are a lot of ultra-left commentators so I think it differs little from RevLeft except that the people over there are less stubborn.

Yeah, many M-L's and M-L-M's among many more Leninists simply do not post here anymore because of all the ultra-leftists. Once upon a time there were a great deal more posters who had some insightful views but they left after enough of the nonsense; ie, the debating equivalent of bashing your head against a wall.

I deal with any progressive causes which are in my area; from marriage equality, anti-discrimination, to marijuana legalization but primarily anti-war. I live in a rural area so this can be difficult, more so since I take a focus in youth organizing.

I am no expert in the cultural revolution but I would certainly help in any way I can; from editing, writing, to offering thoughts however way you need help I would not mind assisting.

About Yet_Another_Boring_Marxist

Basic Information

Men vanish from earth leaving behind them the furrows they have ploughed. I see the furrow Lenin left sown with the unshatterable seed of a new life for mankind, and cast deep below the rolling tides of storm and lightning, mighty crops for the ages to reap.
~Helen Keller
To despise the enemy strategically is an elementary requirement for a revolutionary. Without the courage to despise the enemy and without daring to win, it will be simply impossible to make revolution and wage a people’s war, let alone to achieve victory. ~Lin Biao
