I believe that Lenin was an orthodox Marxist, along with Trotsky for the most part (who is my personal favorite Bolshevik) and that the Bolshevik party was organized along the same lines as the pre war SPD. The pre was SPD was lead primarily by Kautsky (who was one of the biggest to popularize Marxism after the death of M&E), who is known as a Orthodox Marxist (until he became a reactionary and a revisionist). To understand the Bolsheviks, you have to go back to those who influenced them and the party they based their own on.
I definitely got that you were a trot.
Well I consider myself a Marxist most influenced by Marx-Engels-Plekhanov-Kautsky-Lenin-Trotsky. Somewhat of a Soft-Trotskyist/Orthodox Marxist.
Not sure exactly where you stand politically, but you should check out the "Revolutionary Marxists" usergroup. As far as knowledgeable Trots go on the site, the best is probably the user "Q," who is a member of the CWI.
Sup comrade, you seem cool. Liking the site?
