Yes. I see Maoism as purely Asia based, like Nepal and Indian (not to mention, china). Urban guerrilla warfare should be done by a small group of revolutionaries, whilst the party should organise the masses.

Arundhati Roy is one of my major heroes. She has worked with my organization in India (Socialist Alternative) in solidarity work with the Tamil people in Sri Lanka after the LTTE was defeateda few years ago.Her "Walking With the Comrad4s" was great.

I'm not a Maoist but anyone who fights against capitalism and neoliberalism is a comrade. I am currently reading "The Battle for China's Past by Mobu Gao. Its basically a positive view of the GPCR. Its a good antidote to the neoliberal propaganda about China common today.

Thanks. I'm taking an interest in urban guerilla groups. It is the way forward. Mao, despite my anti Stalinism, was a brilliant theory and leader, and he gets much more shot than he should do. Deng Xaioping fucked it up and Mao (even when dead) gets the blame.

Hello comrade. I am wondering how Maoism would work in the first world, or would it just be protracted peoples war in an urban environment? Could you give me examples of some urban maoist groups?
