The "training" is your first two months on the job, and the "voice" thing is basically having scripts set up so the workers can follow orders from the client. If you speak Spanish you make extra. It's a decent job with solid hours, but doesn't require previous experience or whatever. That sounds kewl too, hope whatever you do works out.

Ohh that's right, you are not from the States. California is much different then the rest of the States, and body language is more pronounced out there it seems. Also I noticed people have somewhat of a 'high and mighty' tone being out in California because they think they are really awesome and cool for living there. I'm not sure where you live (Capitola, Aptos, Santa Cruz, etc) but if you are looking for a job, check out Santa Cruz Answering Service. It is right near the Hindquarter Bar on Soquel Ave (between Front St and Ocean Ave). They have good pay and benefits, and people seem to quit every so often.

I got a good deal at a bike place on Mission near Ferrells donuts. Yeah, you can just get lost in Big Basin and find really awesome hidden spots, couldn't tell ya how to get to any, just gotta explore. At UCSC I think they raised housing costs and tuition as well as tried to bust the janitors union I think. A lot of students refused to pay and occupied the housing when they attempted to close it for summer or something. I went to Cabrillo for a bit, which was cool for Linux admin classes. As far as grading system, I couldn't tell you. If you are out of state it is harder to get in and more expensive. Prolly 3.0 average to be seriously considered is my guess. Is the bike/anarchist/garden collective still on Pacific and Spruce? If yes, check er out.

Well what do you like to do? Panther beach is just up highway 1. It's before Davenport. The bike trails by DeLaveaga Park are sweet. OHH! If you have a car, check out Big Basin State Park, north of Boulder Creek. Quite a bit of action went down at the University regarding housing (I think) a couple of years ago, right after I moved away.

Political Statement: I am a Marxist Propagandist of communist or rather marxist, ideas for the Overthrow of Western Imperialism and global Capitalism, to be replaced with workers' control Socialism to Communism (depending on if we still have a planet or human race to bring world wide socialism). At this stage in history and dire condition of our planet and human race, a supporter of any rational parties with a chance of implementing a rational energy and environmental policy through parliamentary means, although i think that capitalism does not have this capability. For the Communist Party, the organisation of the the most conscious workers, the revolutionary Vanguard of the Proletariat; for the arming of the working class and strict Class theorist Socialist institutionalisation. Revolutionary "political" centralisation but economic democratisation. Socialism is the struggle for communism; an international CLASSless, State-less, money-less, and egalitarian society with the implementations of "Each according to his ability, each according to his needs" ONLY in which the age old exploitation of man by man can be abolished.
