Hoxha didn't connect Albanian history and culture with that of the Greeks. In fact Greek nationalists accuse him of "Albanizing" aspects of Greek culture.

National liberation is fine so long as it is part of or the spark for international liberation. The FRSO hinges everything they do from the veiw point that oppressed nationalities will find their way to communism thru some time of narrow tribalism. For example, they think that the latino community should be vanguards of a federation of oppressed nationalities within the U.S. borders. They call themselves ML. But that kind of thinking is quasi revisionist maoism and derails the cause for worker unity.
