It was shitty. I kind of was, I guess, I had been active in the anti-war movement and anarcho-syndicalism/left-anarchism. Some shit happened and I was burnt out and feeling betrayed by the people/organizations I had worked with. So I dropped out for a while and ended up joining the army and became a communist again after I joined.
