Just got a copy today, I'll be reading it tonight or tomorrow.
Because people attack Marxist-Leninists unfairly on this forum far too often. I also think that reporting him to the mods is stupid and a waste of everyone's time.
I agree. Though I have an appreciation of diamat, it is usually used in obscurantist and opportunist ways. This is why I support the development of a "dynamic materialism" that can avoid the mysticism of dialectics.
Haha I was kinda purposely vague in an attempt to ruffle some feathers.
Well a revolution is inherently an authoritarian act for one. But what I was referring to, is that many anarchists as well as "libertarian Marxists" who to me, for the most part, are Anarchists with a red flag, categorize those with my political opinions as "authoritarians." I think for the most part this is due to our thoughts on the state as the instrument which must be used to usher in socialism. In other words I'm not an anti-statist.
No I wasn't joking.
I see it for sale for $40. That's cheap enough for me to get.. I will get books as expensive as $50 from time to time, but after that I tend to call it quits. Dialectical materialism is interesting, but it's also something that's occasionally abused by opportunists to justify reformism and other bad things. I've been doing pretty good. Haven't seen you on Gtalk lately.
Sure! I was just about to go to the library today to get a copy. What would this entail?
Lol, Omsk seems to be some kinda weirdo that thinks the internet is real life. Seriously, everyone who's not an M-L is a traitor? lol
