Not much, just getting done with work in the next few days. After which I'm going to spend a day or two drinking hard alcohol and sleeping, probably. Then it's back to skool!

My guess is that it's a hard place to explore, even with robots. Venera 13 lasted for 127 minutes, the longest that anything has lasted to send signals back from the surface of Venus. When surface temperatures are hot enough to melt lead and it rains sulphuric acid in an atmospheric pressure equivalent to being 1km under the ocean, things don't tend to last long unless they've been built to withstand almost literally hellish conditions. It also snows metal on the highlands, and with an atmosphere of over one-twentieth the density of water, humans would be able to achieve flight under their own muscle power, assuming adequate protection of course.

Also, volcanoes. Probably.
