Interesting article on China - not sure I'd entirely agree with it though. What do you think of Che's critique of the Soviet Manual of Political Economy, which directly tackled the issue of using the market and capitalist tools to build socialism?

Though, one question I'd like to ask you: what's your take on capitalists being allowed into the party since 2001 (I believe to be the correct year)? It definitely seemed like a direct contradiction to that of China's socialist ideal.

I'm pretty interested in what you said about the Derg in Ethiopia - do you know of any good books, articles or whatever which have information on them?
