I think that the party is indespensible as an organ of proletariat power. Revolutionary syndicalism, in all it's forms, is very immediatist and workerist. A vanguard party would not suffer from these tendencies, and is the reason it is most fit to struggle for the establishment of the dictatorship of the proletariat.

That is my thoughts on it as well. If you support a vanguard party, made up of the most class conscious and revolutionary members of the working class, why would you advocate that the party not take power? It makes no sense.

What are your views on the party taking power. Personally, I am not opposed.

I stand for the democratic right to have a population choose independence, if they so desire. It is just that communists shouldn't argue for that, but instead be on the position that we should strive for the biggest possible unity.

The underlying theme here is that unity makes the working class strong and create a possible basis of transcending global capital. However, unity can never be coerced but has to be voluntary.
