I get what your saying, but why does that justify you joining the US Military, when it plays a fundamental role in the strengthening of the Capitalist system. Others may not be more than armchair revolutionaries, but why does that justify you joining the US military, when it acts directly against what you claim to stand for.

It’s all well and good leading men, but if you’re a Socialist, shouldn’t you be believing where you are leading men to is wrong. In terms of tactics, shouldn’t you be using that knowledge to defeat Capitalism and imperialism, rather than helping to strengthen it?

RevLeft and the internet is full of so-called Socialists who do not correspond their words into deeds, but does that mean you should do the same, or worse?

I cannot understand your thinking at all. I find it disturbing, and cannot help but think you have your ideas mixed up.

Please tell me how you justify being a Socialist, and fighting for the US Government at the same time.
