Isn't communism the way most perceive it: A stateless, classless society of freely associating producers, quite far off?

The thing is every question I've had thus far has been answered by reading. I don't know what the right questions are. Of the Marx and Engels I've read it's been The Communist Manifesto twice, The Principles of Communism twice, The Critique of the Gotha Programme, Socialism: Scientific and Utopian, On Christianity, On Authority, Origins of the Family, Capital vol one 3 times but it went over my head quite a bit originally. Now I'm reading Poverty of Philosophy. There are a few other things. Most of the stuff I've read comes from anarchism but I think I'm more of a Marxist now and others think I'm a Stalinist on Facebook.

Concise! There are people in WNY expressing their ignorance of history and theire blatant liberalism by having the flag everywhere.

What defines a petit bourgeois ideologue? I can see it but I can't say I can easily define it. I think at times I definitely have tainted views in some respect, but that's because of the social class I'm in and that no one's perfect

And if the proletariat had not been decimated in the civil war, how do you think the Soviet Union would have managed differently? Specifically economically. I know I've made a copious amount of posts regarding how a Prole dictatorship's economy would function if it was unfettered from any extensive bureaucratic domination, but most answers I've received on that issue have been extraordinarily vague and almost dogmatic, at least from the p.o.v. of my rather limited understanding of Marxist theory.

With what you had said in regards to my post on the proletarian dictatorship, you mentioned that the Soviet Union experienced a degeneration because of the proletariat being a demographic minority. If I'm understanding correctly, what you're saying is that political power naturally passed to the bureaucracy because the Proles were decimated after WWI & the civil war?
