I have no idea to be honest, don’t know much about the condition, so I really can’t comment. That being said, if you are a ‘psychopath’ I’m sure there are support groups on the internet, who can relate to you, just as people with mental health issues relate to one another on the internet to feel less atomized.

Why are you a leftist then? I mean I could understand you being a member of the proletariat, so it would make sense since it is in your class interests, but I doubt that you really are that selfish, as to only be concerned about yourself.

Personally, while communism is in my class interests, I am also interested in the poor of the world who are subject to abject slavery; in fact I am much more concerned about them, then myself.

I don't wish diseases and illness upon them generally.

Heh, well I guess the key word is generally. But regardless, just because you maybe don’t personally empathize with someone, doesn’t mean they have no worth, nor does it mean there are not people who exist, who are better by said persons existence.

Also I've made alot of improvement in my life recently, got a good job where I get to genuinely help people, haven't been suicide for a while, etc..still depressed but doing better. That being said, I don't go into the PYHO thread and keep tabs on people and attempt to use those to embarrass them or to throw it back in their face. I go into that thread to try and give advice and help comrades who are going through hard times, cause I know what it is like and I know what its like not to have any support system other then anonymous people on the internet.

Fair enough, I've wondered about the same thing myself to be honest. That is one of the side effects of said condition, ie: a lack of empathy. And it did seem completely out of character for him, but having said that, he seemed quite serious and on top of that had a day and a half to 'calm down' and admit what he did was insensitive (he didn't even have to apologize, at least not as far as I was concerned) so frankly I have been left with the idea that he must have been serious and there must be something about me he seriously hates. Having said that, I don't think Os is a bad person or anything like that, just maybe someone who takes the internet too seriously. He messaged me on fb tonight, so who knows what he will say. If anything, he did me a positive since I've began to realize that just cause someone describes as a leftist doesn't make them a good person.

Not (c) this person pisses me off enough on an internet forum that I'm going to actually try and push them over the edge (despite the fact that I don't even really know them as a person over my limited experiences on the internet with them, let alone know the fathers, mothers and close friends and partners who would be torn apart by that). But I guess that is just the difference between those types of people. I'm sorry to hear that you might be apart of the latter group.

Then I can't help but feel you suffer from a similar lack of empathy that Ostrinski does. In all honesty, since all that shit went down, I made a serious attempt on my life, obviously not successful but regardless. An empathetic human being would take the following course of action: (a) this person pisses me off cause they always complain about their issues yet don't seem to follow through with it, so I'm going to ignore them; or (b) this person seems like they are crying out for help (most likely cause they are seeking support and can't find it in their regular lives, so are forced to seek it on the internet) and thus I'm going to do my best to help them, since I know what it is like.

Anyways Os messaged me on facebook tonight, so I guess I'll have somewhat of a better understanding of what motivated him once he responds. Regardless my main issue was, don't keep tabs on my struggles in the PYHO thread (which is supposed to be a place of safety and non-judgement) and use it to slander me on the main boards. If anything the whole situation turned out to be positive since it slashed my naivety with the type of people who popularize the radical left.

Hmm I'm not sure to be honest, I'm a fairly jagged fellow to tell the truth, however I don't understand how someone could actively wish another person to die due to meager political differences. I mean we had been on friendly terms leading up to that point, until about 3 weeks until it all exploded. I can be harsh at times, but I respect people who can vehemently disagree with one another on a subject and then leave it at that. I just found it odd that someone who knew what it was like to be that depressed and to have made an attempt on their life (as ostrinski had in the past) would ever actively try and bring about someone's suicide.
