LOL, ive heard people refer to themselves as marxists of the stalin variety, anyway, thats irrelevant, why do you uphold stalin depite what I said, do you just ignore them or admit to them but point to his successes, of which I am not aware?

I support any group fighting for the emancipation of the working class, wether I uphold the same people as them.

And sure I will have a read.

However, I think Trotskyism and Maoism and both far left compared to people who explicitly identify as Stalinists, many of whom have rigid dogmatic stances.

yeah its true but sex tourism is starting in Cuba very depressing and they are developing tourist hotels in Havana .the friend i went with was there n the special period it was their 5th trip over a 20 year period. We saw prostitution in Havana which did not exist on the street before . the countryside and the towns were VERY different the people were different also . It is worth a trip but i must say that the embargo has really changed Cuba .Lots of evidence of Miami influence in Havana but not in santiago

well Cubans can if they have tourist money but i did see toothpaste in the Cuban shops- they use EVERYTHING - I stayed with a family and they didn't waste a thing- the tourist currency is so that tourists cant come and get things cheap- so you do pay the equivalent of what you would pay at home- unlike say if you went to jamaica where you would just have the JA dollar and could buy a lot of things for a lot less money than at home

i was never in the CWI except for about a year when i was around 16 i was in socialist youth. probably join ÃƒÂ©irÃƒÂ*gÃƒÂ* as they're running candidates up north in the summer and seem to have a good grasp on things re national and social questions and their indivisibility.
