Of course there is separation. Wage increases at the immediate workplace or rent moratoriums courtesy of immediate landlords are very different from wage or rent laws.

Every genuine class struggle is political, and basic political struggle starts somewhere. As almost always, it never starts amongst union militants.

Perhaps, but my earlier points re. Occupy in the first place is that

1) Every genuine class struggle is a political struggle, not an economic one
2) Occupy is a generic political struggle

Therefore, genuine class struggle is much more likely to come from Occupy than from left-activist antics in mere labour disputes (including "union politics").

Thanks for the FR. You made some good posts in the Vietnam thread. It really burns me up to see people support the murder of socialist revolutionaries, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised based on all the other things that the Stalinists support.
