I'm not sure man, given the historical precedent it doesn't come off as a great idea but it would be one that I would need to think about more. But honestly I have been thinking what Canadian revolutionaries can do to help make the party we all want to see (a revolutionary mass party) in Canada, and you have come up with more solutions than I have for your own geographical location.

just wanted to say don't get dis-heartened by the criticism in your labour party) thread. We all come up with dodgy ideas sometimes, or ideas that need fine tuning (or in your case totally overhauling).

I would advise that you read up about the history of the labour party in the UK, and a bit about 1968 in France, to see how labour parties (or in France's case, parties who generally direct labour) become merely another bourgeois obstacle to revolution, when material conditions allow.

But again, I think it's good that you've got the balls to post a thread like that, and you've got the brain to allow original thinking, so don't let this (admittedly harsh) criticism put you off bro.

I know but when I'm drunk its soo tempting and can always be good for a few laughs. But, I do indeed, realize you are right; its entirely futile.

Where did you hear that Marx was both an alcoholic and depressed?

I am not a huge skype fan but would still be interested; I think Welshy would be too since I have been keeping in touch with him since his ban and he expressed interest at doing something similar.
