I realise most communists have a diferent view on what libertarian means.

Authoritarian: Uses authority to maintain authority?
Libertarian: Uses authority to destroy authority?

We may have a problem with these definition...

The best explanation I can give is that, an authoritarian system uses authority as one of its ways of preserving societal order. A libertarian system regects the use of authority as a form of preserving societal order, and instead uses other means, such as the social nature of man, and alternative economic systems.

My enthusiasm for Bukharin comes from his role in co-authoring the ABC of Communism, comrade(with Preobrazhensky, of course, an excellent Marxist and economist).

Libertarianism decribes a system which want to give freedom to individuals. If I use violence to create a free society I am being libertarian.
Authoritarianism describes a system which uses a strong state or other means of control to keep a population in order in order to achieve a goal the leader(s) have in mind.
It is all about the systems of control.

Expropriation is libertarian, it is giving to those who have not, thus liberating them from their lack of goods.
Yes it does have to do with majorities. When a minority opresses a majority it is authoritarian, when a majority liberates itself from someone's authority they are doing a libertarian action.
So using authority to end the authority of someone is authoritarian?

Then there is no such a thing as libertarian action.

I think it is libertarian to defend liberty, that is why I consider myself a libertarian.

I have seen a post of yours on Tim Cornelis' page about Makhnovists and pogroms.

I have read about this, and I can tell you the Makhnovists condemned pogroms, but there might have been come commanders who did it. Also, I think mean Makhno shot a guy who had a sign that associated the Makhnovischina with pogroms.

The white army supported pogroms, so they were the worse.
