Sadly the plp site doesn't host some interesting articles on Trotsky's provocations anymore but you only have to take a look at Trotsky's last writings from 1940-41 and you'll see they are full of attempts to get the workers and (as he stresses especially) the army to overthrow Stalin. And while he uses nice phrases to rant about Stalin's "red fascism" and to call for true communism and restoring the revolutionary spirit, brilliant Trotsky, who is amongst other things praised by his followers to have foreseen that the nazis will inevitably invade the USSR, must have known perfectly well what it means to call for a revolution/coup/new civil war in a time where the nazis are about to attack any day and when the USSR was most endangered...
