Um...sorry to burst your idealistic bubble but even authoritarian methods must be needed in the post-revolutionary period state due to not only of internal enemies but external enemies. So you would need to purge them, party traitors, those in society who still go to capitalist ways (Kulaks are a prime example) and of course the military bonapartist tendencies.
