Politically I still think it is wiser to remain one one paper and mix the agitational and educational parts. To cite Trotsky: you don't create two kinds of tickets; one for the "backward" people and the other for the "inner circle" of revolutionaries. Your aim should be directly pointed at the whole of the working class, but from a revolutionary point of view. One that has theoretical aspects aswell as agitational parts.

On finances, I envy your situation in Canada. It costs us 1.60 euro's to produce an 8 page paper

But conservatism is a real issue in any organisation and shouldn't be ignored or bluntly attacked, but dealt with in a tactful manner. Else you risk isolating yourself.

Good to hear that you're interested. But expect opposition along the way of trying to set up such a platform, especially from leading cadres. The method we've been using, we've been using for almost 50 years now, if not longer. Setting up an open platform like the WW is quite a break from that.

That said, I don't know about setting up a second paper, just for this goal, is such a good idea. Why not make the regular paper a mix of both agitational and the educational (discussion and debate)? It is a practical choice (less resources) and political choice (educating the wider layers of the workers movement, striving for political leadership via the platform).

In the cwi in cork (ireland) doing really well around 40 members with a good group of supporters , got one elected local councillor too so thats good . Good to here things are going well for you lads . Keep it up comrade
