Well, according to Marx the religious wars were all brought about by specific economic/social conditions - where are you getting 800 mil from? Marx actually is sympathetic to religion -calling it a painkiller (opium) and what he criticizes is its opressive nature in power relations in specific socially determing organizations and using superstitions as knowledge -ie not keeping science and religion seperate.

Excuse me, but religioun is openly demonized in both the Manifesto and Capital. Religioun has caused more than 800 million deaths, and you cannot justify it in any way.
