Well actually, with my dad it's complicated. He does recognize liberalism and communism are different, but he sees communism as an oppressive dictatorship where people have no rights or freedoms.

I don't think so, no. I see them just as joke pictures even if they are Anti-Communist.

But it's all sweet because they let me be a communist despite they are conservative.

Well my parents know i'm a communist but they dislike lefties and are generally conservative.

Well there has been a long history of politics in my family especially with my grandfather being the Attorney-general of the Australian State of Tasmania.

Huey Freeman isn't really a communist/socialist,and his status as even a progressive figure veers.

He is a Nation of Islam style black nationalist, consumed with metaphysics and diversionary causes. Even though he espouses black nationalism, even in that the character fails, because he often ends up being the mouthpiece for the occasional racist/chauvenist notions of the show (against black people!).

I don't now. The Boondocks trys to pass itself off as revolutionary, but often it isn't, using the figure of MLK and Rosa Parks to actually parrot some pretty ignorant views against black people, and then pass them off as "revolutionary".

I don't mean to be rude but can you please give me an explanation on how religion is compatible with communism/anarchism?
