I and most other marxists believe that Karl wanted direct democracy and councils because he supported them in his lifetime[read his biography] and wanted complete equality for everyone, wich calls for democracy and councils. Besides, the only alternative to democracy is dictatorship of some form.

Communist Manifesto, for one. I think that a communist revolution can only start in countries were the industrial proletariat makes up more than half of the population, just like Karl Marx.

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. As explained below, Marx had the perfect plan for the perfect world, unlike Stalin, who killed a fourth of the russian population.

Not what I propose, what Marx proposed, wich is a direct democracy, where all property and the means of production are owned communaly by the workers, as are the farms by the farmers. There will be a period called the dictatorship of the proletariat after the world revolution, wich will be when the workers consolidate thier power, wich then ends shortly, and the workers will bring into effect what I mentioned earlier . Everyone will get an equal share in every way. That meant nothing to Stalin, Lenin, or Mao, obviously, but they had the arrogance to twist Marx's ideas and call them thier own, and that is the problem with communism today.
