    Somewhat. I'm done with worshiping Marxist figures, but I'm not done with Marxism. I'm just not sure what flavour of it is my preferred one yet, though the so-called more "orthodox" forms (Luxemburgism, Kautskyism) etc. seem to tick a lot of boxes. I should read some actual Marx and Engels before I decide though, albeit I have little time to do that at the moment due to school.

    I don't want the thread to get anymore off topic than it is, but essentially, I agree that understanding them historically is necessary in the future, but at the same time we ought to violently oppose them as it pertains to superseding the existing order, which we are not even close to doing.

    Proto is (In this context) Primitive/Precursor, Žižekian as for I am in the process of endorsing Žižek's philosophy, primarily because I feel Žižek (most of the times, not when talking about Europe, 2015) says what I think, in a much more developed, albeit really confusing way. The same with all the Žižekians I have already found (Not that much, really)

    And I also want to poke some people, but that's secondary.
