Now i'll admit that i have even thanked posts in the same thread which we're close to as useless, but these posts we're about the initial question itself and not it's consequences and we're either humorous or simply stated facts which we're easy to check up on (Death tolls).
I did not feel like responding to something which could de-rail the discussion and i therefore neg-repped you. In order to give a short explenation i always write down a short and compact reason. However, i did not feel the need to write the above in the entire neg-rep and it might therefore have come off as rude or impolite.

It was in learning, and the initial question was about the death-toll numbers 'under' Stalin. The disagreement was about a part of your post about industrialization. It would therefore be completely off-topic to go on about the industrialization-process. Now, i dont mind the fact that you stated the industrialization process was too fast and was therefore the cause of the problems in the USSR. The problem however is that you provided no additional data to back up this position. Which could not really develop the position of the initial poster in respect to your argument. You we're simply expecting him to take up this position at face value. Completely useless in my opinion.
