The only confirmation I got form them is that I get e-mails from them all the time now. So does that mean I've been accepted or something? There is also the fact that I live in a small city that is basically a beach resort for the right-wing conservative upper class, so I'd imagine I'm pretty far from the closest branch.

You really are a perfect example of a revisionist. You don't understand socialist economics, social-imperialism or anything of the sort, and you underestimate the potential of a true centrally planned economy. For one reason or another, you stick to cop-out arguments and you apparently see no problem with Mao's reactionary foreign policy, Khruschev's threats and market reforms, or the Brezhnev doctrine of "limited sovereignty".
What the hell is your problem? Do I bother you so much that you have to go out of your way and neg rep one of my posts so you can feel like you accomplished something?

In otherwords, you're angry at me because you didn't like what I had to say about Cuba or its state-capitalist economy. Figures. It's not like you can tell the difference between a state-capitalist and socialist economy anyways. Forget cross-subsidization, forget about money-commodity relations, forget about production of the means of production. Fidel says Cuba is socialist and they have red flags, so they must be socialist!

Hey man, sorry to disappear for a while there, had a bunch of shit go down in my life that I had to deal with. But yes, the WSWS article was mine, and thanks for reading. Unfortunately, I want nothing to do with the WSWS/SEP any more, as all the rumors about the group are true. I can fill you in with details some other time. But yeah, I was planning on being there on the 19th and look forward to meeting some non-batshit insane comrades.

I've sent them an email once or twice but they never got back to me. I'll be sure to check out the demonstration on the 19th.

I suppose there's little in that article that's obviously disagreeable. Yes, foreign imperialism has a lot to do with the material conditions of North Korea. But how do you account for the serious cult of personality and the choosing of sons of the leaders as means of succession? Or the dropping of communism from the constitution?

It's amazing how deluded and sectarian most people are, especially in this forum, when it comes to the Libya situation. They automatically place opposition against imperialism in Libya as support for Gaddafi, as if there's any correlation between the two.

I wouldn't even bother with them anymore. Gotta remember, they range in orgs such as the SPUSA and ISO. Not much to really hope for there.

Maybe you can use some of those newspapers you try to push on people to soak up your tears?
