You should name individual groups instead of saying "the Trotskyists." If I start talking about "Stalinists" as a whole, I can pick a couple crazy groups to make you look very bad, but that isn't a very honest way to argue. Like I said, Trotsky was adamantly opposed both to privatizations and to those ultra-leftists who refuse to provide military support for nationalists under attack from imperialism.

Sorry to double post but I thought of a better example: there are Venezuelan so-called "Maoists" who are part of the anti-Chavez opposition. Does that give me the right to go around saying "All Maoists are anti-Chavez pawns of US imperialism?"

You said Trotskyists support Mousavi, that is absolutely untrue. Trotsky wrote that socialists should always defend bourgeois nationalist regimes against imperialism, he used the extreme example of fascist Brazil, saying even Brazilian fascism would be better than any government set up by a foreign invasion. Trotsky also said that socialists should oppose privatizations. So any group that supports Mousavi is not Trotskyists. There are Stalinists who support British Labour, does that give me the right to say "stalin = gordon brown?"
