    Nice to see reason on these boards.

    There are two old but informative youtube series I'd recommend as an introduction (in case you have not heard of technocracy before). The first is a lecture/presentation series, the second is an interview with two technocrats;

    There have been debates about the relative merits of the LTV view and the Technocratic one here before. I'll see if I can dig some of these up. But in the meantime, if you have questions, the Technocrats have a Q&A-thread in OI-Learning; http://www.revleft.com/vb/q-time-fea...705/index.html

    Paul, have you formed an opinion of technocracy? I would really like to see you debate the resident technocrats on Revleft. Especially on the usefulness of the LTV grounded use of a labor token (price) system versus the usefulness of an Energy Accounting system.

    I'm sad to hear about the French publisher - and a little surprised, considering that France seems to be moving left these days (Sarkozy even expressed support for the Tobin Tax the other day; Sarkozy of all people).

    Perhaps you will be able to publish the French version at a later time. Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to "Classical Econophysics".

    There's also this Muscovite comrade sanpal who equates the Soviet economic system with Duhring's "socialitarianism":

    Perhaps at some point we can debate on the transition to labour credits (the stages in your Czech preface vs. labour credits in certain sectors of the global economy co-existing with the monetary transition).
  6. Hello, have you had a look at this: http://mises.org/journals/qjae/pdf/qjae7_1_6.pdf?

    We did some work on an updated version to be published in French last year, but the French publisher withdrew so it never came out. We have been too busy with a book on capitalist economics 'Classical Econophysics' to write an entirely new book on socialist economics.

    I believe you are the very first person with actual published works to have joined Revleft - at least, as far as we know.

    Posting a link to "Towards a New Socialism" is, at least for me, standard practice every time the economic calculation argument is mentioned. Any chance you and Allin Cottrell might be persuaded to write an updated version, or perhaps even a whole new book on the topic of socialist economics?
