Hmm, that's very interesting indeed. But, do you not believe we, as moral agents, have a duty to not inflict unnecessary harm on sentient beings? It is a different case in regard to hunting for survival, obviously, but when talking about choosing to kill nonhuman animals, I see no justification. I could go on, and I am genuinely interested.

Perhaps you could post your opinions in the 'Do you eat meat?' thread, which, although being a train crash, is relevant to the topic, and would save making another topic on much the same idea. Also, may I ask, are you a vegetarian or vegan, or do you hunt/fish?

I must say good sir, I was extremely surprised to see you have no issues with hunting, fishing and other human utilisation of animal products. Given how spot on your posts were wrt the theory of intersectionality, and the interests of sentient nonhuman animals, it seems more than a little contradictory for you to have no moral issue with human beings treating animals as objects, even if they are not treating them as property.

Do you not believe in the concept of animal rights?
