What about the activists who try to disrupt the use of animals as test subjects - are they showing a positive character by trying to prevent the advance of science?

Relax dudette. I'm not actually into bestiality btw. But I stand by my position, and you never gave me an explanation of why the welfare of animals should be protected when there is no benefit for human beings. Why should animals be given rights? What are the criteria for according rights? Are all animals given the same set of rights?

The reasonable person adapts himself to the world. The unreasonable person insists on trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends upon the unreasonable person.

It is very sad that our technology has surpassed our humanity. We should try for the day when our humanity as a species will finally surpass our technology.

I wanna run with a reckless emotion,
find out if love is the size of an ocean.
Even if i crash out or burn out.
At least i'm gonna know what its like.
I wanna feel til my heart breaks right open.
I wanna blaze like a fire thats glowing.
even if i crash out or burn out.
at least i'm gonna know what its like, to feel alive.

-- song lyrics to "Alive" from canadian idol (it really expresses how I feel)

cover my eyes and ears
til it all dissapears
how can you judge for me
what i should hear and see
you take away freedom of choice
take away the right to voice
my beliefs and and all my views
you take away my right to choose

chorus:
(na na na na na naaaah...)
show me what should i see
(na na na na na naaaah...)
make my mind up for me
(na na na na na naaaah...)
show me what should i see
(na na na na na naaaah...)
what should i see

how can you censor my thought
what is right what is not
how is it you decide
what i should feel inside
quoting god as you discuss
what is right and wrong for us
you inundate us with your views
you take away my right to choose

(repeat chorus)

you take away freedom of choice
you take away my right to voice
my beliefs and all my views
you take away my right to choose

(repeat chorus )

...make my mind up for me
show me what should i see

the song "Should I See" by Frozen Ghost good song, really expresses how I feel.

"I have always believed in a good fight"
