What brought you to radical politics?

Some day just give it time, you'll get there. Then you might hit a point where being left is just the epitome of second nature, and you'll notice other things that are questionable that you should critically think about. What forum? What happened there exatly?

Okay. Yeah, I think it will take me a while to change my way of thinking, and I will definitely do some research. I have hope that maybe someday I'll be unrestricted. I do not like seeing that "title" applied to me because it brings back bad memories for me of another forum I'm on...

No problem also don't try to rush or force yourself just try to change those ideas slowly over time, also do research. The whole thing about it being wrong never quite made sense to me haha. That's also good btw I am trans

Thank you for such a well-thought reply. It has certainly given me a new perspective on these issues, one which I hadn't really even known about before. I do understand that a woman may very well have a compelling reason for abortion, and I shouldn't judge her for that, nor try to make a choice for her. And as for the same-sex marriage, I'm still trying to work myself out of the "it's wrong" mindset that I've had all these years, but I would have nothing against you if you were a lesbian transwoman who married the love of her life.

Ahhhh I see. Well I've opposed my parents liberal views and have changed any reactionary views I had into progressive ones. In reality it just takes time and educating yourself and getting experience in them. Is it not a woman's choice to have an abortion? After all it is her body, and there are various reasons a woman may want an abortion. All of these reasons are personal to her and she deserves the choice. By saying that you oppose them, you're in essence saying you're anti-choice. Why should people be allowed to get married if they love each other and they're in a monogamous relationship? Would you be opposed to me marrying someone because I'm an anarcho-communist? Because I'm a lesbian transwoman? What if I meet the love of my life and we decide to get married? Would that be alright with you?

To put it simply, I have opposed them both. That's the view passed on to me by my family.
